Other Information:
- Advance reservations and payment are required. Mon. - Fri. between 9 AM and 4 PM. Class is limited to (20) participants.
- "Cooking Couples" is a class designed to teach husbands and wives how to work as a team to prepare a fabulous five course meal to entertain 8 to 12 people in grand style in their home.
- Chef Raper and his associates will discuss preplanning, grocery shopping tips, preparation techniques, insider tricks and shortcuts, finishing work and plate presentations.
- Each couple will have their own work station with a complete complement of ingredients, cooking tools and supplies they'll need.
- Some recipes will be entertaining standards that are sure to please any guests while others will be more adventurous specialty items designed to impress your friends.
- A special wine dinner will be served on Saturday evening and will feature items such as Bourbon Poached Pear Salad, Seared Rye Salmon, Filet Mignon with Foie Gras Bread Pudding, and a special Chocolate Valentines Trio for dessert. Participants will be provided the opportunity to see Chef Raper finish off all recipes and learn his secrets to their preparation.
- Chateau Morisette will have a representative providing samplings of wines that are expertly paired with the menu presented by the Hotel.
